Access, Correction, and Portability
You can access and edit most of your basic account information right in the Rave app from the profile and watch history screens.
If you'd like to obtain a portable copy of your information that isn't available in our app you can contact our DPO (Data Protection Officer) at
[email protected].
Because your privacy is important to us, we will ask you to verify your identity or provide additional information before we let you access or update your personal information.
We may also reject your request to access or update your personal information for a number of reasons, including, for example, if the request risks the privacy of other users or is unlawful.
Revoking Permissions
In most cases, if you let us use your information and change your mind, no problem! You can disable precise location using your OS, or revoke all data collection choosing to opt-out of data collection in the settings of the Rave app.
Of course, if you do that, certain services will lose functionality such as recommended content.
Deletion
While we hope you’ll remain a lifelong Rave user, if for any reason you want to delete your account, and the data associated with it, the option is available on the Settings page of the Rave app by way of the "Delete Account" button.
If you delete your Rave account, the data associated with it will be deleted within 30 days.
