Bandwidth sharing is a process in which a small part of your unused internet connection is shared with trusted partners. In Rave, bandwidth sharing is handled by these partners. They use the shared connection to browse publicly available web pages and collect data while Rave is in use. This ensures that sharing is active only when necessary and minimizes any impact on your connection and your device's performance.
We prioritize your privacy and the security of your data. The bandwidth sharing process, conducted by our partners, only gathers publicly available information and does not access or collect private or sensitive data from your device or the websites it visits. Additionally, strict security measures are in place to protect the data collected through bandwidth sharing.
We understand that some users may prefer not to share their bandwidth. Users will not be opted in automatically, they will be asked if they allow it first. If you wish to subsequently opt out of this feature, please refer to the Privacy option in settings within our app or contact our support team for assistance.
